A few weeks ago the city council decided that it was time to remove all of the ash trees from our neighborhood. It's devastating because we had a a very large, old white ash tree right in front of the house. It kept the house shaded and cool in during our hot and humid afternoons, and provided some privacy. Well it is gone now and only the stump remains. Here's to a lost friend!
